When Importing into 217Plus, I get "Import Failed. Error 104." What happened?

A common error that occurs when setting up a file for import, is to add ".00" to the Quantity. Since this is not recognized as a whole number, it will cause an error during import.

Alternatively, if the file having containing the data is open (i.e.: in Word or Excel), an error will also occur. It is always a good idea to close the files you are working with before importing them so that no conflicts arise when 217Plus reads the files.

When opening a 217Plus™ System Data file, I get the "Error 63" message. What happened?

Different versions of the database engine are distributed with PRISM®, which the 217Plus™ Upgrade Version uses, and the 217Plus™ Full Version. Unfortunately, the different versions of the database engine can only access 217Plus™ datafiles created with the same version.

When a 217Plus™ data file that has been created with the 217Plus™ PRISM® Upgrade Version is attempted to be opened with the 217Plus™ Full Version, or vice-versa, 217Plus™ Error 63 is displayed.

To overcome this problem, The RIAC has created the 217Plus™ Data File Conversion tool to convert 217Plus™ System Data files between versions.
